Exciting and fresh news for the fansDallas Braden must have thought that the perfect game was nothing more than a curse that was going to haunt him for a long time. After that memorable game there have been some troubling gaps in form. He has now posted his first win since that game and it surely must settle the nerves for the future fixtures. Bobby Valentine has expressed an interest in managing the Chicago Cubs. It remains to be seen whether the feeling is mutual. Valentine has been doing a stint as an ESPN analyst following his stellar career at the New York Mets. If he was to take on the post it would be a challenge that he could use to launch him into the highest levels of management in the MLB baseball community. There was some worrying news when Eugenio Velez suffered from concussion. He has been a player for the San Francisco Giants and has been allocated to the outfield section. The foul ball was responsible and he will be travelling home with his colleagues. It seems that Brad Hawpe will need a lot of prayers after some bad forum with one for eighteen in this month alone. He has had no home runs so far since this calendar month began. There are the sore ribs to think about and there are even rumors of a trade off. We wish him a good recovery and hopefully a return to good form soon. Despite the numerous injuries that he comes with the Marlins are not willing to give away Leo Nunez. He must be doing something right. Some players are so good that an injury or a run of bad form is not good enough to get rid of them. This is a wise move because in MLB baseball some of the people that have experienced terrible injuries are the ones that are giving the game a good name with their exciting play. Had they been thrown on the heap the sport would be a poorer place. I am all for rehabilitation and the time for players to get back to their best.
